Michael Peters, PT
Mike opened Maumee Physical Therapy in March 1998 with the idea of providing high quality, individualized therapy treatments provided by licensed therapists, designed to return patients to their desired endeavors safely and quickly. In November 2004 Mike moved the practice into our present therapy facility, allowing the opportunity to expand services to include aquatic therapy for the acute patient who is unable to exercise in a land based environment or for those who suffer from osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mike has served as an instructor on several subjects in the area of orthopedic physical therapy at Wayne State University in Detroit, and the University of Toledo Medical Center. Areas of specialty include sports medicine, general orthopedics, and industrial rehabilitation. Mike has specialized training in the area of biomechanical disorders of the foot and how they effect the rest of the body.
Mike is also part owner of Serenity Health & Wellness Center offering holistic and age defyng treatments. Mike is an avid fitness enthusiast.
Terry Foster, P.T.A.
With over 18 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Terry is a specialist in aquatic physical therapy, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Terry has helped many patients in the Toledo area providing therapy services in their homes, assisting many in their transitions the home therapy environment to the more challenging outpatient setting. Personal interests include tennis, skiing, guitar and automobile restoration. Terry is married to Michelle and is the proud father of two daughters, Haley and Sydney.
